Mr. Rosen has over thirty-five years of forensic expert witness experience in the Specialty Chemical and Allied industries. He is nationally certified as a fire and explosion investigator (CFEI), has extensive industrial product and process experience and has also served as Adjunct Professor of Fire Science.
Meyer is a consulting and testifying expert witness for attorneys and insurance companies. His expert fields include, but are not limited to: technical product liability and personal injury cases related to fires, explosions, hazardous chemicals, chemical burns and toxic exposures. Mr. Rosen also has expertise in cases involving cosmetic product injuries and defects in consumer & industrial products and processes. Additionally He provides forensic expert guidance in trade secret, intellectual property and chemical/chemical engineering related matters.
Mr. Rosen is an internationally recognized expert in the technical marketing of specialty chemicals as well as their formulations and applications.
Meyer is Editor-in-Chief of Harry’s Cosmeticology, 9th Edition (2,600 pages) (https://www.chemical-publishing.com/harryscosmeticology_s/44.htm); acknowledged by the International Federation of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists as one of the three classic textbooks on cosmetic science.
He is also Editor-in-Chief and peer reviewer for EuroCosmetics Magazine; Editor of the 1,100 page Delivery System Handbook for Personal Care and Cosmetic Products; Editor for Elsevier’s Personal Care and Cosmetic Technology Series (7 books), and co-author of the Rheology Modifiers Handbook.
