Dr. Craig Nachbauer is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and has practiced thoracic and vascular surgery since 1991. He is experienced in medical record review, determinations of standard of care, and deposition and testimony in medical malpractice cases. Dr. Nachbauer received his thoracic surgery residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals. After a fellowship in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery at Emory University, he completed his training as Clinical Associate in Cardiothoracic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic. Currently, Dr. Nachbauer is in private practice, specializing in thoracic and vascular surgery. He is the medical director of the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Wound Center. He is medical director of the University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Wound Center.

D. Tyler Greenfield, MD, FACS graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He trained in General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. He also received additional training in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Greenfield is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. He was previously on the faculty at Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, LA and previously on the clinical faculty at Texas Tech University Medical School in Lubbock, TX. He currently serves on the clinical faculty at the East Tennessee State University Quillen College of Medicine. He also serve as the medical director of the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, TN. Dr. Greenfield is currently a surgeon with the Ballad CVA Heart Institute in Kingsport, TN and the Mountain Home VA Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. He maintains an active practice as a thoracic surgeon and wound care/hyperbaric medicine physician. Dr. Greenfield has more than 25 years’ experience in active clinical practice. He is also experienced in medical legal review, utilization review and peer review. Dr. Greenfield has active medical licenses in the states of TN, TX, VA, LA & AL.
